In 2023 I was in an elevator accident at work. The elevator dropped while I was stepping into it. The door closed and didn’t move. No one knew I was in there on the floor writhing in pain. I was begging the Holy Spirit and my Guardian Angel to help me get up and try to get the elevator to move so I wasn’t stuck in it. I got up, hit the button to go down, and made it back to my desk. Then rushed to ECMC. Worst pain I have ever felt radiating to my back.

I hit my head, broke my ribs on my left side, dislocated my left shoulder, and tore the ligaments in my right elbow. The Doctors at ECMC said it would be at least 6 weeks to 2 months before my ribs would be healed. My nurse told me a story while I was in the ER about when she broke her ribs while she was pregnant. It took her almost 3 months before she was better.

After praying with Father DiGiulio, working with the Disciples of JC ministry, my shoulder went back into place on its own, my ligaments in my right elbow healed, and my ribs were completely healed. The PT guy I had at ECMC was so astonished at the quick healing, I didn’t even need to finish my PT.

Praise Jesus Christ for His healing and allowing me to work and pray with such a great group of people.
